MIYOSHI RUG x plasticimagine TURN ON RUG ミヨシラグさんとのコラボレーションアイテム。壁掛けと床置きの2way仕様です。 スペースエイジの特徴の一つである壁掛けタイプの大型ランプを平面化し、ランプの点灯を消灯表現。 トリックアートに見えるように、ラグでは難しい糸や線が細かく分かれているデザインですが、ミヨシラグさんの職人技術で商品化することができました。 糸はアクリル製ですが、ガンを打つ感覚を調整し、ウールに負けないレベルの気持ち良さと高級感がある触り心地に仕上げてくださっています。 90〜2000年前半のストリートと家具の関係をイメージしてもらえることを願って製作したアイテムです。 縦横約62cm 厚さ約2.5cm A collaboration item with Miyoshi Rug. This product features a versatile 2-way design, functioning as both a wall-mounted and floor-placed piece. The design reimagines one of the defining characteristics of the Space Age: large wall-mounted lamps. By flattening the form, it expresses both the lighting and extinguishing states of the lamp. Crafted to resemble trick art, the intricate design features fine threads and lines, which are challenging to achieve in a rug. However, thanks to the craftsmanship of Miyoshi Rug’s artisans, we were able to bring this product to life. The threads are made of acrylic, but by carefully adjusting the tufting technique, the touch and luxurious feel rival those of wool. This item is designed to evoke the relationship between street culture and furniture from the 1990s to the early 2000s.
